ArcadeX and The Unseen Player

Typeface, Book, Video

Video game typography evolved from pixelated fonts to immersive design, shaping narratives and enhancing emotional engagement. No longer solely for scores or messages, it builds worlds and deepens storytelling. This project explores its transformation through a short film following a pixel across game realms, illustrating typography as both a narrative device and a design element. A custom typeface bridges graphic design and gaming, visually mapping the type’s evolution and role in shaping game experiences.
